30 Before 30

30 Before 30

With my 27th birthday right around the corner, I decided it was a good idea to make a 30 before 30 list. In all likelihood, we will be having kids around the time I turn 30, so I want to fit in as much on my wishlist as possible before then. Not that having kids ends your life or anything, but it definitely changes things. There’s so much I want to accomplish, do and see within the next 3 years.

  1. Go on a girls trip (I love Ivan, but sometimes you just need sometime with your friends)
  2. Complete a serious hike
  3. Go on a hiking / camping trip (where I have to hike to my camping spot)
  4. Pay off my car
  5. Pay off our credit cards
  6. go to Italy
  7. go to Mexico City (We are planning to take this trip with Ivan’s parents)
  8. Visit my friend in Seattle
  9. Explore the West Coast (I’ve still never been to California… )
  10. Run a 10k
  11. Go Vegetarian for 1 month
  12. Don’t Eat out for 1 month
  13. See the Grand Canyon
  14. Get my wisdom teeth removed
  15. Learn to Golf
  16. Learn to play Tennis
  17. Learn how to Braid Hair (sad, I know.)
  18. Go Whitewater Rafting
  19. Get Married (the date is set! let’s make sure it happens lol)
  20. Buy a House (this really depends on where we live. If we’re still in DC, it’s highly unlikely)
  21. Volunteer for a Good Cause
  22. Learn how to use my camera properly. (manual pictures? what do the settings actually do? etc. )
  23. Go on a Roadtrip
  24. Host a Dinner Party
  25. Go to the Orchestra
  26. Go to am Embassy event An Evening at the Mexican Embassy
  27. Complete my Great American Roadtrip Reading Challenge
  28. Camp on Assateague Island (it’s an island in Maryland that is home to wild horses. yes.)
  29. Have my DNA tested by 23andMe
  30. Skydive or Bungee Jump

  • Your reading challenge sounds super fun! I’ve always wanted to test my DNA too! Really love your list! Happy Birthday!
