So last night my family and I headed down to Detroit for an AC/DC concert at Ford Field. My dad has always been a huge fan and my mom got us all tickets for fathers day. My sister and I grew up listening to them so we were all rather excited. My dad has seen them live before (in 1983!), but it was a first for my myself and everyone else.
Because it was such a special occasion and there were 5 of us, I decided that I should get a selfie stick to properly document the night. They were only $5 at 5 Below and it made for some interesting pictures.
Most of our troubles arose when I felt it was necessary to turn the camera around. You see, the front camera cannot use a flash and the quality is terrible in the dark. But.. when you turn it around, you can’t see what you are taking a picture of. This created some issues.
It was a lot of fun though. I knew most of the set list and was singing along for the majority of the evening. They played most of my favorites AND I got some sweet light up devil ears out of the deal.
I was incredibly impressed with how much stamina they all had. They were going pretty hard for the entire night. There were cannons, fireworks, props & more. My favorite part of the evening was probably when they played Thunderstruck. Every song was fantastic though. The whole crowd was just so in to it.
