Sunday, October 18, 2009 at 08:12PM - Why Are You Blogging? Well, maybe mostly on my own behalf, I have this intense fear for forgetting. I think that's also why I might love photography as much as I do, you can't forget something tangible. I'm just trying to document my modern existence as much as the next person. I'd like to hope that this blog will give me an excuse to get more creative things done in my life, as I can showcase them here. Also I'd like to try and post outfits I've put together, just to make a style timeline of my own, and hopefully to develop a style all my own in the process.

- What kind of cameras do you use? I have so many it's hard to answer that qeustion. I'll try and post the camera I'm using in the tags of a post, that way if it's in regards to a certain picture, you'll know exactally which one I'm using.
- How Can I purchase a scarf from you? Well you can email me here; midwestdarling@gmail.com . I hand dye all the scarfs so if you just let me know the color you'd like and the email at which to invoice you, I can start making it! The scarfs usually run about 20 dollars plus shipping. In the US shipping is four dollars. International shipping will be quoted per individual address.
- How do you find so much great stuff/vintage clothing at thrift stores? I just really have to DIG. Be there more than a few times a week, and make good friends with my sales people. Chances are more than likely that I'll spend hours combing through racks and only walk away with one thing I like, if anything at all. But that's what makes it kind of thrilling, when you do score big it's great! For my readers locally I'll try and post reviews of the stores I shop at, and they'll as always be up on yelp.
- Can I use your photographs on my site/paper/publication/anywhere else? If you do not have my exact written permissions to use my photos please do not. I take all the photos on my site unless otherwise noted. Please do not use my photos in any form manipulated or otherwise.
