Halloween Weekend

Halloween Weekend

This past weekend was all about Halloween antics and activities. On Thursday night we kicked things off with a party at my friend Brads. He and his girlfriend went all out with halloween decor; there were black lights, glow in the dark beer pong, jello shots in “syringes” and spooky decor everywhere.

Then on Friday, we had planned on doing the downtown Lansing bar crawl. However, it was snowing and I was not up for walking around outside all night. I did pass out candy to all the cute and incredibly brave kids that went trick or treating in the snow. My halloween decorations were a big hit and I really enjoyed meeting some of the neighbors.

On Saturday, we went to the MSU Law School Halloween Party. They had rented out a local bar, The Riv and it was a sold out event. We had a fantastic time dancing and hanging out with all of Ivan’s friends. I dressed up as Lady Liberty and Ivan and his friends were the Reservoir Dogs. It was daylight savings, so the party went an extra hour. I didn’t make it that long though. My feet were killing me in my heels and we left around 1 am. I hardly ever wear heels and I certainly don’t dance the night away in them on a regular basis.  I’ve got blisters now, which is never fun, but I’d say it was worth it.
