High Five For Friday: Halloween Fun

High Five For Friday: Halloween Fun

Happy Halloween Everyone! It’s been an exciting and busy week.

1. Outlet Mall Shopping With My Mom

After work on Monday my mom and I decided to get some retail therapy in. We drove about an hour away to Birch Run; this great outlet mall. I only went into one store… Ann Taylor. I spent quite a bit in there, so I stopped myself from going in anywhere else. I got this great leather jacket for $55, a pair of green skinnies for $4 and a green tank for $8. Not too shabby.

2. Lunch with my Granny

On Tuesday my grandma and grandpa both had doctor appointments. So my mom took my grandpa and I took my grandma. We also went grocery shopping and then to lunch. Isn’t she adorable? We went to Athena’s Greek Diner… which is my new favorite place. So good.

3. Halloween Costumes

I’ve been working on finishing up my costumes this week. I love halloween. I really, really do. I love dressing up. This year we’re going to 3 Halloween events and I’ve got 3¬†costumes, Lady Liberty, a Price is Right contestant and Mary Poppins. I’m excited.

4. Passing out Candy & Parties

Today is the first time I’ll be passing out candy in my own place. It’s my first halloween in a non-apartment by myself. I’m so psyched. Then we’ve got the parties… last night Ivan and I went to my friend Brad’s halloween party, tonight we’re doing the Downtown Lansing Bar Crawl and then tomorrow we’re going to the MSU Law School Party. I just love Halloween :)

  1. It sounds like you found some great things at the outlet! Love the jacket you got and you definitely can’t beat a pair of skinnies for $4! I LOVE all of your costumes- I rarely dress up, but the next time I need a costume I think I might go for Lady Liberty. Hope you have a great weekend!

    1. Thanks Carly! I know, when I saw those pants for $4 I about fainted. They had an entire rack and only one of the pairs fit me. I think I tried them all on ;) And yeah, Lady Liberty was super easy. I just wrapped the fabric around me and pinned it. No sewing necessary. Everything there was less than $15 and took like an hour to make.
