High Five For Friday: Date Nights & Netflix

High Five For Friday: Date Nights & Netflix

1. This Adorable New Lunch Bag
I got this great new lunch bag. Isn’t it divine? It’s available in a bunch of different colors. It holds a crap ton of food. Which is great, because I end up packing my breakfast along with my lunch most days. You can find it here.

2. I Saw This For the First Time

Tell me this isn’t the best thing you’ve ever seen. I would freak out. I would definitely ugly cry.

3. Mid-Week Date Night
As many of you already know, Ivan is in law school. He gets up early and studies late. So we don’t get a lot of time together during the week. Well we got to go out to dinner on Wednesday. We had to eat super late, but it was nice to be able to go at all. We tried a new place for the first time; Steakhouse Philly. I got these fantastic Greek Fries and Ivan had the Windy City Philly. Both were great and the fries were really filling. Ivan had to help me. In fact, you can see his blurry fingers grabbing some fries in the shot.

4. Finally Able to Enjoy Friends on Netflix
I’ve been unbeliveably busy this month. I was still in Arizona until the 7th and the internet where I was staying was super spotty. Which meant no streaming. No friends :( Now I’m at home and getting back into my routine, I finally have had time to watch Friends.

5. Comedy Club Bust
Last night Ivan and I tried to go to the comedy club. Unfortunately, there was a power outage and it was canceled. We ended up staying in and watching tv together. Sometimes, that’s even better than a night out.

Today I am linking up with:

The Farmer’s Wife for Oh, Hey Friday!

  • Those fries look delicious! I love a night in sometimes too.

    • They WERE delicious. We just went back to that restaurant and I had them for dinner again. I’m so healthy.

  • I feel ya on the whole “not a lot of time together” thing. David’s working full time and getting his masters; I’m working full time and coaching basketball – and he comes to all the games, too. Anyway… back to you… glad you got some time together. I enjoy a midweek night out sometimes more than the weekends! Happy weekend! xoxo

Also… can’t remember if I’ve commented this before or not but I love your news design. It looks great!

    • Thanks Claire! That’s nice that he makes it to the games. It’s so hard when you’re both so busy.

  • That lunch bag is absolutely adorable, great buy.

  • I love a cute lunch bag! It makes me more inspired to actually pack food for work instead of ordering in all the time :)

    • I agree! I love packing food in a cute bag :) It shouldn’t make a difference, but it does. Thanks for stopping by!

  • Those fries look amazing! I love anything philly! I also love Adam Levine lol. I’m glad you and Ivan got to have a date night. It’s hard when you don’t get to spend much time with them. My husband works odd hours so really the only time we have is on the weekends. Thanks for linking up to High Five For Friday!

    • It’s hard when everyone is so busy. But at the same time, it makes the time you do get together really great. Thanks for stopping by Della!

  • I love mid-week date nights! They’re so fun and more intimate, I guess :) Gorgeous lunch bag, too. You couldn’t have picked a better color!

By the way, I am giving away $25 gift card to The Mint Julep Boutique! I’d love if you can send your entries!
