High Five For Friday: Winner, Winner, Chicken Dinner

High Five For Friday: Winner, Winner, Chicken Dinner

1. I WON The PS Print Contest

So guys, remember that card contest I’ve been yaking about? Well I was one of the grand prize winners. I also won 2nd place in the public voting category, so I’m walking away with $2500 in amazon giftcards & 400 card prints. I about fainted when I found out.

2. I Got a New Haircut

In all honesty, it’s probably been over a year and half since I last cut my hair. My hair takes forever and a day to grow, so I just don’t ever cut it. I’ve been trying to grow it out, but it was obviously time to get it trimmed up. I even got my bangs hacked. I was a little frightened at first. I asked for swoops and he totally chopped. I was unhappy that first day, but then I wash and styled it myself and I feel better about it. It’s a nice change. You can see my new do below :)

3. College Game Day is COMING

So ESPN’s college game day is coming to East Lansing and I’m excited. They’ve been here before, but I’ve never been out in the action. I’ve excited to see what it’s like; I’m sure it will be an exciting day.

4. I Got Back to Working Out

I’m been majoring slacking with my workouts and it’s been showing. I decided that enough was enough and got back to the gym. I honestly do feel better when I workout. I just need to make myself continue to go until I get back in the groove.

5. New (and fun!) Responsibilities at Work

For those of you who don’t know, I work as a graphic designer at a real estate company. I do all their social media work, print layouts, advertising, flyers… basically all the media stuff. Well, about a month ago, I helped their model home staging team work on setting up a model. Now, I’m going to get to work on one of my own. It’s a new responsibility, but I think it will be a lot of fun. Basically I get to decorate a house and shop for awesome things. I love decorating. I love shopping. So win=win, right? I think so.
