Besides vintage fashion, another one of my most favorite things/hobbies/past times are analog cameras. I have amassed about three huge storage boxes full of antique, lomo, and just plain weird cameras. I will always have an eye out at thrift stores for them, mind you a discerning eye. Yesterday I was at a goodwill, which I normally have absolutely no luck at when I found this.
Now for those of you who haven't blown tons of cash with the Lomography company before, that's an action sampler. It's one of the few cameras from the company that I do not posses. Normally the retail for I think 35 - 40 bucks, which is kind of insane for something made of plastic. I figured though that it might not work, so I opened up the back, made the shutter snapped, and no pieces were broken. Everything was fine, which meant I could justify spending the ONE DOLLAR, on it. :)
I took it with me when Brian, my roommate and I went down to OTR, Tuckers, and Findlay Market. Which Brian and I do just about every Sunday if not more. I love OTR, But I'll love it even more if Cincinnati gets the Street Car bill passed.
Now when it comes to toy cameras you most likely will end up wasting your first roll of film with them just to find out what they're like, almost like a personality. I surprisingly didn't waste a whole lot, but then again, I've been using toy cameras for way to long. Granted these aren't award winning shots, but more of a test roll so to speak. I've cleaned out the lens since I developed these, sitting in a thrift store isn't the happiest place for anything optical.
Anyway, enough of my rambling, how about some photos?
Probably my favorite, but I might be a little biased on the subject ;), Brian eating
pocky. This camera is awesome with movement.

The would be totally awesome apartments looking over

Tucker's, the best dinner in
OTR. It's been open since the 1940's, and woman who helped open it still works six days a week. Best breakfast ever.
Inside Tuckers.

"Bad" Print crop, "watching".
Overall it's a fun little camera, I def need to tweak some things though, and want to x-pro some film in it.
Also, only one more day until the giveaway closes, the more comments I get on it, the more I'll have in the future!
