Merry Christ-giving

Merry Christ-giving

This Thanksgiving was a little odd. Because Ivan and I won’t be here for the holidays, my family decided to have Christmas early. We had a Thanksgiving brunch on Thursday and then had a big meal on Saturday, when we exchanged gifts.¬†Honestly, it was pretty fantastic. I was done with my Christmas shopping before the whole Black Friday mess, which kept chaos to a minimum.

It was a nice to spend time with my family and I walked away with some pretty fantastic gifts. My favorite? A Garmin Vivosmart. I’m still working on figuring out all the little details, but I love it so far. It’s connected to my phone, so it alerts me when I get a text or call, I can find my phone and control the music from my phone all on my wrist. It also does fitness tracking of course. It counts calories burned, steps taken and tracks my sleep cycle.¬†24

On a side note, I just realized that 95% of my holiday pictures are of my nephew. What can I say? It’s my first nephews first christmas. It cannot be helped.
