I’ve always loved nonstick cookware, but I hate that you can’t throw them right in the dishwasher. I get that most nonstick pans wipe clean, but let’s be honest, I don’t always wash my pans right away. I just feel better when I can sterilize my dirty, crusty dishes in the dishwasher.
I’ve had my skillet for over a month now and I have to say, that I love it. I’ve used it on the stovetop and I’ve washed it in the dishwasher. I’ve even channeled my inner “Chopped” contestant and thrown it in the oven. It’s a pretty badass pan you guys.
The 13″ skillet is the perfect size for me; I don’t have another comparable pan. It’s large enough to make “one-pot” dinners and the sides are high enough that you can get a fair amount of liquids in there. It’s also small enough that it fits (barely) in my dishwasher. Score.
It was easy to prep the skillet for the first use. I just had to wipe it down with warm water and dish soap. Easy as pie. I’ve never had issues with food sticking, and I’ve cooked basically everything in it; eggs, chicken, pasta, you name it, I’ve tried it. You don’t need to add oil or butter. It’s my go to pan. The pan heats evenly and quickly for its size.
It also comes with a lid, which is a major plus. I steam things in the pan all the time and it makes the process very easy. I’ve been known to throw plates and cookie sheets over large pans, but no more! The lid is thick and the handle on top remain cool even while cooking.
Oven Safe up to 500°F / 260°C.
I’d definitely recommend trying out this dishwasher safe line. Here is a link to this pan, the [amazon text=Amazon&asin=B00DE1CCBW]. I’m going to keep an eye out for other pans in this line. If you’ve tried any of them out, I’d love to hear what you think of them!
