I decided it was time I explored the new local salvation army. I’m not normally a huge fan of the salvation army because of the way they organize things. They organize by color, not size. Which means, it takes longer to sort through everything and I’m constantly finding things that I like that aren’t my size. Bummer.
But the prices are better than Goodwill (and they give student discounts on Wednesdays!) so I thought I should give this new location a shot. I’m really glad that I did. I found a few awesome pieces (you’ll see them soon!) and spent less than $10.
One of the my fabulous finds, and probably my favorite from that day, is this cobalt blue skirt Anne Klein. It’s supposed to be an 8, but I’m fairly certain someone washed it and shrank it. Which explains why nobody was trying it on and I was able to steal it for… $2. That’s right, $2. I just love the color and it matches a pair of cobalt blue suede pumps I found at Goodwill awhile ago. For work, I paired it with a black J.Crew cardigan I thrifted last week from goodwill for $3.99 and my sparkly black BCBG flats.
Ann Klein Skirt – thrifted – $2
Tank – Meijer – $5
J. Crew Cardigan – thrifted – $3.99
BCBG Flats – BCBG Final Cut Storeclosing – $12
Total Cost: $22.99
Here is a shot of my skirt & matching blue suede pumps :)
