This was a rather busy weekend for us. Friday night I went over to my friend Jacquelline’s for a girls night. We watched one of the 1,000 Morgan Freeman/Ashley Judd movies from the 90’s/early 2000’s – High Crimes. I hadn’t seen it before, but it was good. Predictable, but good. (My favorite Judd/Freeman movie is Kiss the Girls!)
It was the first MSU tailgate of the season, which happened to be one of biggest games of the year. Game Day came back to East Lansing and Ivan finally went. They’ve come a few other times, but we never got around to going. I still haven’t been to a game day, but I’m not too worried about it. I got to sleep in. It was all good.
I took Kidd for a run when we finally got up and then later that day we headed to the tailgate. My nephew was there and it was his first tailgate. Isn’t he just the cutest? Look at that FACE.
The t-shirts I designed for the official Law School Tailgate came in this weekend too. It was pretty cool to see people wearing my design around campus. I ended up with one that doesn’t quite fit… for some reason they ran out of smalls, so I got stuck with a youth large. Which apparently is wider than an adult small. What’s up with that? Oh, well. Anyways, MSU beat Oregon and all is right with the world.
Sunday was mostly spent relaxing. I wasn’t feeling 100%, so I didn’t want to do anything too crazy. I took Kiddo to the dog park and worked on some new products for my etsy shop. I’ve been slacking lately. Oh, I also listed some more stuff on ebay. I need to get rid of some of my shoes. I never wear them, but I just love them. It’s hard to part with shoes.
I also signed up for my first 5k this weekend. I’ll be running the MSUFCU Dino Dash. Is anyone else in the area running it?
