A Weekend of Cleaning & Organizing

A Weekend of Cleaning & Organizing

This weekend was busy, but it was fun. While I was in college, I was a nanny. I was with the same little girl for just over 4 years. I had her everyday during the summers and sometimes 4 days a week during the school year. Last fall she started going to school and I was getting ready to graduate so we had to part ways. Anyways, I got to spend friday night with my munchkin. She’s such a little doll and I miss seeing her all the time.

I spent most of Saturday cleaning. I bought these cute green bins at the dollar store for my fridge. It’s obviously not a completely organized fridge, but it’s on it’s way.

IMG_5910I also picked up these new lunch containers at Home Goods. I’m really happy with them, the seals seem really tight and I love that they are taller than the average lunch container. The little ones I bought for sauces, cheese, crackers, carrots, etc.IMG_5911Sunday was pretty lazy. I prepped some snacks for the week, hit the gym and made dinner. I made these adorable little taco cups in a muffin tin. My boyfriend thought they were delicious and I thought they were adorable. Win, win.

  1. I was a nanny in college too. My “kids” are all grown up now – the oldest is in middle school and when I met them, she was 3. I bet that was so great to see your little one. I need to organize my fridge, too. Your dinner looks delish! Happy Monday, xoxo

  2. I’m in super organization mode right now too. I always mean to pick up bins like that for my fridge – I’ll take a look at the dollar store next time I’m there! Home Goods is one of my favorite places on earth, haha, and I love those Sistema containers. I have some travel lunch ones and larger canister ones for flour and sugar. They’re great!
