This past weekend went by pretty fast. On Friday night Ivan and I had dinner together in DC. We went to a place in Capitol Hill called Medium Rare. They do a prefix steak dinner – bread, salad & steak with fries. It was good, but I don’t know that I’d go back. The food wasn’t very memorable and I feel like they rushed us through dinner. Granted, when there is one thing on the menu, the kitchen shouldn’t take long to get your food out, but we were already on the steak course 15 minutes after sitting down.
Saturday was the Lady Antebellum concert. We went with another couple and had an absolute riot.
Brett Young was on first, followed by Kelsea Ballerini and then finally Lady Antebellum. I was honestly there for Lady A, I don’t know much about the other acts, but I thought they were all fantastic.
Sunday was pretty lazy. I went grocery shopping and did some cleaning, but I spent most of the day on the couch watching Chopped. My body has just been so exhausted lately. I’ve been doing the Fitness Blender Burn program, so my workouts have really been ramped up the past few weeks. This is my final week of the program, but I think I’m going to jump right into another one. Has anyone done the fitness blender programs before? I’m trying to decide between the FBAbs program or FBSweat next. The wedding is in September, so it’s crunch time.
